On the way back from the 'Lighthouse' photo shoot, there is a place where you can stop and have a coffee, snacks or refreshments. It's known as 'The Katarachtes' meaning water fall. It's a very popular tourist attraction in Loutraki.
I wanted to project a 'steamy, misty' effect. Technically, a ND filter is what I should have used. Since I don't have one yet, then is trial and error with the camera & PS.
Anyway, I think I succeeded. What do you think?

You did get the misty steamy effect - and they are beautiful water falls. Nice POV, composition and exposure. I don't understand the ND filter part. Shooting at f/2.5 at 1/60th, you could go to f/3.0 at 1/30th, or f/3.5 at 1/15th to get the blurry water. That's assuming an ASA (ISO) 100. Now you have a excuse to drive out there again and try it out. Nicely done ... TFS, Sam

Very nice capture, water fall has a lovely soft and misty flow, the colors despite the overcast are recorded nicely and very good composition.
Well done!

What a beautiful scene. I'd love to stop there and have a drink of coffee. So serene and the sound of the water cascading over the rocks must be lovely to hear. The filter you applied is just great, nice and dreamy, just like the scene. Well done on the PP work.
Sorry, but I ran out of points so early today. A++

Constantinos,....very nice colours and composition. Very nicely done. This is def'ly into my favourites.

Hi Constantinos

A little soft overall, but the blurred water is very effective, & suggests movement. Excellent pov & lighting. Congratulations!

Hi Constantinos.
Very nice shot. Well managed in PP... A strange feeling but it works !
It makes a very wet ambiance...

Hi Constantinos,
Such a beautiful waterfall!!! It's perfect in any way but IMO a bit soft though it might have been on purpose. :) I just tried it to sharpen a little. see workshop later today cos I'm out of limit :)

I can understand why this is a tourist trap. It's beautiful! You've captured the motion of the water and the vibrant greens and reds around it.

Fresh green in a fresh picture, softness and fine light, good shot !

Very nice photo.
Take care

Hello Constantinos, this is a very nice fall bordered by these ferns!

It's so lovely! With the nice green, and the green is different from our greens :)

Well done! Cheers, Yan :)
